For the first time in the history of the tournament Australia will enter an official team on behalf of the Australian Baseball Federation.
Our team is 18 Under and is one of the first steps in Australia putting in place a development pathway to our Senior women’s team which will allow Australia to continue its success at the highest level.

Far East Bloomers is a foreign contingent and the members belong to different teams playing both hard balls and rubber balls back in the country.
We had been looking forward to playing in Hong Kong as a team during this off season period for the last 6 years.
We are so glad that we can take part in the tournament again this year.
We see the the matches are getting more competitive throughout the past 5 tournaments and again.
We are going to play full out and strive for the championship this year.

Guri-city NineVics Women’s Baseball Team, Korea
NineVics was founded in 2005 and now it is the largest (37 members) and the most famous team in Korea.
‘NineVics’ means all ‘Nine’ players are trying to achieve ‘Victories’ in harmony.
The vision of NineVics is to become an outstanding team, a skilled team and a loved team to contribute to the growth and development of women’s baseball.
In 2012, we joined Guri-city and changed our name to “Guri-city NineVics women’s baseball team”.
This is the 4th time to participate in Phoenix Cup and Hong Kong seems like home. We are looking forward to seeing you soon.

Taipei Vanguard Women’s Baseball Team, Taiwan
Taipei Vanguard Women’s Baseball Team was formed on Aug 11,2001, it was formally started by a group of female baseball enthusiasts who all met on the Naruwan website.
The average age of the players are around 28 years old and are from different sectors of the society. Such as education, finance, insurance, medical, tourism, retail, and students, etc. There are 31 players and 2 coaches enrolled in 2012. Every weekend, our team practices around 4-8 hours in Shezi, Taipei.
Every year our team competes in the following tournaments: including National Woman’s Baseball Cup tournament hosted by the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association and National Woman’s Baseball tournament hosted by an amateur woman’s baseball team alternately as well as additional unscheduled events.
In the past eleven years, over 75 baseball enthusiasts, 7 coaches as well as many supporters contributed to our team’s success in the world of women’s baseball. The 2013 Phoenix Cup tournament will be the fifth time Taipei Vanguard Women’s Baseball Team participate in, where we had experienced the excellent and unforgettable great memories. We hope Phoenix Cup will keep growing and become one of the major tournaments in international women’s baseball world, and we also hope to create the beautiful memories with other baseball enthusiasts from all over the world one more time.

The Allies was first founded in August 2007 to play the debut Phoenix Cup Hong Kong International Women's Baseball Tournament 2008 organized by Hong Kong Baseball Association. Some of the Allies players played the Women’s Baseball World Series and the IBAF Women’s Baseball World Cup. Allies has been playing the Phoenix Cup every year since its inception and achieved good results. We treasure every opportunity of playing baseball with elite players from other countries. Allies is striving for a breakout to achieve its ever best result in this Asia Insurance Phoenix Cup - IBAF Hong Kong International Women's Baseball Tournament 2013. |

Development Team, Hong Kong
HK Development Team is composed of a group of novice local women baseball players. For most of the players, it is the first time to participate in international baseball tournament. Taking this opportunity, players will be able to expand their horizons and accumulate experiences by competing with other elite teams from overseas. Hopefully it can contribute to the growth and development of Hong Kong Women's Baseball in the future.
